A cooperation between Ain Shams University and the Academy of Arts to inaugurate a class of the Confucius Institute within the Academy

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Ghada Gebara, President of the Academy of Arts, signed a cooperation protocol between the two sides to inaugurate a class for the Confucius Institute within the Academy of Arts.

This was attended by Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel-Sayed, Director of the Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University, Chinese educational advisor, Plenipotentiary Minister Wang Xingang, Dr. Enas Abdel-Khalek, head of the Language and Translation Center at the Academy of Arts, and a group of Confucius professors in Ain Shams and representatives from the Academy of Arts.

Prof. Dr. Esraa Abdel Sayed said that the cooperation is an investment in the success achieved by the Confucius Institute, Ain Shams University, within the Egyptian society at all levels and sectors.

The Confucius class to be established within the Academy of Arts is scheduled to carry out all activities from Chinese language courses, various arts courses, sports courses, and summer and winter camps.

The Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University also plays the role of a link between the Egyptian Academy of Arts, which includes 7 institutes in various forms of arts, and its counterparts in the People's Republic of China.
