On the announcement of Egypt's hosting of the Climate Change Conference, the Faculty of Environmental Studies and Research at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the "Volunteer Team for Humanitarian Action" Foundation, launched the training program to qualify climate ambassadors for the first "introductory" AMBASSADOR CLIMATE program Communication Science. Within the activities of the Million Youth Volunteer Initiative for Climate Adaptation, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty.
The program, which will be held online, starting from Saturday, November 13, for a week, aims to enhance national capacity-building in the field of climate through a series of training courses for various sectors and groups of society in cooperation with various stakeholders, including the concept of climate and climate changes, their causes and effects.

The faculty aims to prepare climate ambassadors in the Arab countries through the program, and the number of those to be trained will reach about one million young people.
The faculty holds the training program to raise citizens’ awareness before the conference is launched, and the trainee is given a certificate and is considered a climate ambassador. Ambassadors will be trained until the number is complete, and the climate ambassador has the right to train other ambassadors.
The program explains the impact of climate change on all sectors in line with the vision of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and its transformation into a university with environmentally friendly "zero carbon" emissions, in line with the integrated sustainability plan of Ain Shams University.
