The Network and Information Technology Center supervised the provision of remote communication service for the annual conference of the French Association Méditerranée, which was hosted by Ain Shams University.
The center worked through the team of engineers and technicians to follow up the process of technical communication remotely, using the best technological techniques, to ensure the participation of thirty professors from universities in the Mediterranean basin.
The center also provided an appropriate internet service to ensure continuous communication and no interruption of communication during the scientific participations that took place during the conference sessions, which lasted for three consecutive days.
The e-portal unit at Ain Shams University created and managed a site for the conference that included its activities, speakers, and themes discussed. The unit also supervised the broadcast of the conference's activities live on the site.

         
   
         

The organization of this conference comes under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel Hamid, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the British University and Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University and Vice President of the Association. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Islam Hegazy, Director of the Network and Information Technology Center.
It is noteworthy that the annual conference of the French Association Méditerranée, which took place at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, was held on the occasion of the thirty-year anniversary of the establishment of the association, and dealt with the cultural and legal aspects of hegemony - a comparative study between ancient and contemporary civilizations.
