The President of Ain Shams University receives representatives of the partnership program between the University of Poitiers in France and the Faculty of Business

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, received representatives of the Institute of Partnerships Management at the University of Poitiers in France at the headquarters of Ain Shams University, to discuss ways to expand the areas of partnership between the two universities. In the field of postgraduate studies, by adding a master’s degree or more, with a double degree from the two universities, in order to achieve more benefit for the graduates of the French Department of the Faculty of Commerce.

The meeting was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business at the university, Dr. Monique Camilleri, Director of International Relations at the University of Poitiers, Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the University, Prof. Dr. Sherwat Al-Ahmadi, Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Director of the Immigrants Department at Ain Shams University, Dr. Eman Abdel Salam Nabih, the academic coordinator of the French language study department at the Faculty of Business, and Mr. Guillaume Morell, the French coordinator of the department.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, praised the successful partnership between Ain Shams University and the University of Poitiers, which began more than twenty years ago, wishing to open wider areas of partnership between the two universities through the expansion of joint postgraduate research, granting a double master's degree between the two universities.

Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadry, Dean of the Faculty of Business, indicated that the faculty is proud of this partnership, which aims to prepare cadres of graduates in various fields of management, accounting and auditing applications, and develop their skills and abilities to keep pace with the needs of the labor market. He holds a Bachelor of Management Science from the Institute of Partnerships Management at the University of Poitiers IAE de Poitiers, in addition to the graduates at the end of the fourth year obtaining a Bachelor of Business, Accounting or Business Administration from Ain Shams University.

At the end of the meeting, the President of the University received representatives of the graduates of the French Department at the Faculty of Business for the year 2020/2021, who received their Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Poitiers, to congratulate them on this success, wishing them further progress in their working lives, and souvenir photos were taken with them
