Ain Shams University is the only Egyptian public university in Graduate Employability Ranking

The QS International University Ranking Organization announced that Ain Shams University ranked 301-500 in Graduate Employability Ranking 2022, and Ain Shams is the only public university that achieved that distinguished position among the top 500 universities in the world included in this classification.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, congratulated the university family and its members of the faculty, students, researchers and graduates for this new achievement, which joins the list of the university’s achievements in various international classifications in the recent period, stressing that this ranking depends primarily on the reputation of the ranked university and the suitability of its graduates to the requirements of the local, regional and international labor market.

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and General Supervisor of the University Classification File, added that this achievement of the university in that classification confirms that the university’s education and student sector is on the right track towards producing a distinguished graduate that matches the requirements of the labor market, where the education sector focuses And students have recently been developing current academic programs and courses and developing other programs that keep pace with the latest scientific developments in various fields and are in line with the country’s strategy for the sustainable development of the country 2030. Not only this, but the sector has established joint international programs with many universities around the world.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, stressed that the university has taken an important course in recent times towards interest in cooperation with employers inside Egypt in particular, based on the university’s vision of the need to link science and scientific research with industry and civil society institutions, in order to achieve The Egyptian state’s vision of the need for science institutions represented in Egyptian universities and various research centers to cooperate with institutions of commerce, industry and civil society to find radical solutions to the national problems facing the state. Perhaps this was evident in the fruitful cooperation between the university and the Egyptian Businessmen Association, which includes nearly 500 Egyptian companies in various fields.

   
   

Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector at the university, confirmed that Ain Shams University is taking rapid steps towards openness to the international community, as the university concludes many companies and agreements with the oldest and most modern universities in the world, through which the university aims to exchange cultures and scientific and research experiences with those prestigious universities.

For her part, Prof. Dr. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of Alumni Associations at the university, confirmed that Ain Shams University was a pioneer in establishing a university alumni association that aims to achieve continuous communication between the university and its graduates, whether they work inside or outside Egypt, and the association establishes partnerships with many companies and different employers to provide training and employment opportunities for its students and graduates.

Dr. Ayman Farid, Director of the University’s Employment Center, confirmed that the University’s Employment Center plays a major role in consolidating the bonds of joint cooperation between the university and various employers, by organizing periodic employment forums, whether at the college level or the university as a whole, which the center invites various companies and various business institutions to attend and getting to know the capabilities and qualifications of university students, which in turn contribute to creating more job opportunities for university students and graduates.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, Director of the International Classification Office at the university, confirmed that this classification depends on several criteria that are entirely in the field of the university’s ability to produce distinguished graduates locally and internationally.
