Free workshops in developing the skills of the Italian language, the ancient Greek language and oriental languages, in the faculty of Arts

under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Rasha Al-Didi, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, and the implementation of Prof. Dr. Iman Taha, Director of the Graduate Follow-up Unit at the faculty, the Graduate Follow-up Unit of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the faculty organized free workshops entitled: "Italian language skills" and "Ancient Greek language skills", "Eastern languages" in cooperation with the European Civilization and Oriental Languages departments.

         
   
         

The workshops aimed to develop language skills in these languages to qualify the faculty graduates for the academic year 2020/2021 for the labor market. The workshop was held in the faculty’s language lab.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada praised the efforts of the Graduate Follow-up Unit of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the faculty, which always seeks to communicate with faculty graduates and final year students, to follow up on their functional and practical status, and to train those who could not find job opportunities in various fields through the establishment of practical workshops and training and employment fairs to create the best opportunities work for them, whether in the field of specialization or outside of specialization, after providing them with free training opportunities and through communicating with major companies in all fields and specializations.

         
   
         

Prof. Dr. Rasha Al-Didi explained the importance of learning languages in creating additional job opportunities, as a large number of jobs, especially in the fields of tourism, training, communications and teaching, require proficiency in more than one language as a first condition for joining or promoting these jobs.

Al-Didi added that the unit prepared an executive plan for the university's strategic plan to develop the skills of graduates and qualify them for the labor market in line with Egypt's 2030 vision.
