The President of the University inspect the university’s pavilion participating in the Higher Education Exhibition in its ninth edition

Amidst strict precautionary and preventive measures, Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for University Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, inspected the pavilion of the Ain Shams University exhibition participating in the International Forum for Higher Education and Training EDU GATE 2021, which will be held from 9-11 August 2021, in the presence of a group of university presidents and Prof. Dr. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, and Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel Aal, Director of the Education Development Department at the university, and a group of deans, vice-deans of faculties and university professors.

During his inspection tour, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini said that Ain Shams University offers a variety of programs that cover all disciplines in various fields, allowing students who are going to study to university to choose what suits them, pointing out that the most prominent characteristic of these disciplines is their keeping up with the requirements of the labor market in line with Egypt's vision 2030.

He added that the new programs in the credit-hour system are more than 50 programs in various fields (medical - engineering, information technology - scientific and agricultural - humanities and educational sciences, languages and translation - commercial sciences, archaeology and others). Referring to the international partnerships offered by these programs, according to which a double or joint degree is granted to graduates of these programs.

He pointed out that visitors to the pavilion can view the new faculties developed at Ain Shams University through the QR code, as well as browse the study programs electronically, in addition to direct communication throughout the exhibition days with a full and trained team of organizers to receive and answer all questions and inquiries.

Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud explained that the university is participating this year as a platinum sponsor under the slogan “Your Gate To Excellence”, pointing out that the university’s participation comes in conjunction with the approaching date of electronic coordination for university admission, and the university was keen to participate to communicate with high school students in its scientific and literary divisions and students of Arab and foreign equivalent certificates, with the aim of guiding them with coordination mechanisms and electronic acceptance and helping them arrange their desires in the correct manner, As well as exchanging experiences with the largest participating universities from Egypt and the world, in addition to training centers and donors, and marketing universities for their distinguished services and programs.

It is noteworthy that the preparation of educational and introductory materials for the exhibition came under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mona Abdel Aal, Executive Director of the Education Development Department, and Mrs. Reham Al-Otaifi, Director General of the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs.

It is scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition, a number of introductory seminars on higher education systems in Egypt, and Ain Shams University will participate today in a seminar entitled "Your Way to the Labor Market".
