Minister of Higher Education attends a number of new openings in Ain Shams Specialized hospital at a cost of 200 million pounds

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine opened the cardiac catheterization unit, which includes a number of 2 cardiac catheters equipped with the latest medical devices that help to increase the accuracy of diagnosis, which provides better options for treatment, and the Department of Radiology includes a number of medical devices that have been fully developed to enter the system of diagnostic treatment of patients, and radiation (magnetic resonance, , Interventional Radiology, X-ray, X-Ray and Tissue, as well as a Women's Health section, including mammograms and osteoporosis. The three-role D-building is unique in three specialized national nursing schools.

During his tour, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar praised the development of the university hospitals, especially the hospitals of Ain Shams University and AL-Demerdash, pointing to its important role in raising the efficiency of the health system in Egypt, as well as the role played by Ain Shams University hospitals in eliminating Wait lists.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat explained that the developments in the specialized hospital amounted to 200 million pounds, of which 56 million pounds carried by the National Bank for the development of operating rooms. He stressed that the hospitals of Ain Shams University is working in accordance with a comprehensive long-term plan to ensure the highest level of health service. He explained that the work according to the institutional system is the philosophy followed by the administration of Ain Shams University, in order to ensure the continuation of the quality of medical service provided to patients; the hospitals of Ain Shams University will remain a distinguished medical system with a global reputation within the health service system in Egypt.

Prof. Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saud pointed out that Ain Shams Specialist Hospital that specialized hospital was established in 1986 and did not stop the process of development, whether in the infrastructure or devices and medical and administrative buildings to keep up with the rapid development in the world in the world of medicine and health.

Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El Metiny added that the specialized hospital has 150 beds, 1000 beds for patients and 15 operating rooms. We do not suffer from any shortage of facilities, medicines or medical kits. We have the best specialized professors from the Faculty of Medicine.

Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Anwar confirmed that the hospital operates 24 hours a day for 7 days a week, there is no increase in the medical service fees after the developments, and we are racing to complete the renewal of 11 operating rooms out of 15 in May.
