Ain Shams University Council honors the professors of the Faculty of Al-Alsun for receiving the University Appreciation Award

The Council of Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research, honored two Emeritus Professors at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, on the occasion of receiving the Ain Shams Appreciation Award in the field of social sciences, through video conference technology, where a. Dr.. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, on behalf of the President of the University, handed over certificates of appreciation to each of Prof. Dr. Baher El-Gohary, Emeritus Professor in the German Department in the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragab Al-Wazir, Emeritus Professor, Department of Arabic Language in the Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, during her speech, said that academic life is a research journey during which the researcher roams in various aspects of life-related to his major, to use correct scientific thinking to derive new results that add to future generations a richness of research that helps them complete their research journey in the future, stressing that The real legacy that a professor leaves for young researchers is the greatest work that man can do.

She continued her speech, noting that the research work which is presented by the professor contributes to raising the international rankings of his university, so that the university, with the help of its senior professors, occupies a prominent position in the middle of the global map of scientific research in various fields, therefore, Ain Shams University is keen to honor its human cadres and scholars who have dedicated their lives to building a global reputation for the university in the international community, stressing that Ain Shams University spares no effort to support all its students to motivate and support them in their practical lives to build a bright scientific future worthy of the reputation of a global scientific beacon such as Ain Shams University.

The honor came to the professors of Al-Alsun Ain Shams, in honor of their great scientific career, where Prof. Dr. Baher El-Gohary, Emeritus Professor, Department of German Language, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, position of Cultural Attaché for the Arab Republic of Egypt in Federal Germany, He held many positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, October 6 University, Vice Dean of Education and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, and Head of the German Language Department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University.

During his scientific career, he made great achievements in the field of Austrian literature, as he worked on the dissemination of Austrian literature through his work as a university professor and researcher in many universities in Egypt and Austria, such as the University of Salzburg and the University of Vienna, and received the Austrian Medal of Honor from the President of the Federal Republic of Austria in sciences and arts from First Class in July 2009, the Austrian Medal of Honor for Sciences and Arts of the First Class is the second highest award granted by the Republic of Austria in appreciation of efforts in the field of science and arts, the President of Austria awards this medal at the request of the Federal Government.

As for Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ragab Al-Wazir, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, a member of the Arabic Language Academy in Cairo, and the former director of the Refa’a Unit for Research, Development of Linguistic Information and Translation at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, he developed a complete new theory of the tenses of Arabic verbs and nouns in the light of the contexts of various Arabic texts that were not a familiar segment of grammarians and linguists, and it is the first study conducted by an Arab at the theoretical and practical levels in this field, in which he revealed that the explicit source indicates in the light of the context of the Qur’anic text There are seven tenses: before the past, the past, the post-past, the present, the future, the future, and the post-future.
