Ain Shams University Council honors the winners of the Ain Shams University Appreciation Award for the year 2020

Ain Shams University Council honored in its (online) session headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, winners of the 2020 Ain Shams University Appreciation Award in its various fields.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Qawi Ahmed Mukhtar Khalifa, Emeritus Professor, Department of Irrigation and Hydraulics, Faculty of Engineering, and the member of the University Council from abroad was honored for obtaining the University's Appreciation Award in the field of engineering sciences.

Prof. Dr. Mona Al-Aqbi, Professor of Dermatology, received the University's Appreciation Award in the field of medical sciences on behalf of her late husband, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Samir Abu Zaid, the former head of the Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, who passed away a few days ago.

The winners were also honored and congratulated (via video conferencing), and the council praised their distinguished role in serving the university, scientific research and the country, the deans of the faculties handed them awards and certificates of honor at the headquarters of their faculties.
