Recommendations of the Eighth and Sixth International Conference of the Faculty of Specific Education

The Faculty will supervise the preparation of a sign language dictionary that collects all theoretical and applied terms for all the courses of the qualitative, educational and psychological departments of the college and the introduction of sign language within the courses of colleges concerned with teaching languages ​​such as the College of Languages ​​and Arts with the aim of graduating an academically accredited translator.. These are the most prominent recommendations of The eighth and sixth international conference of the Faculty of Specific Education at Ain Shams University under the title “Strategic Planning for Quality Education in the Light of Global Challenges and Transformations (Prospects and Solutions)”, which is held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Sayed Mustafa, Dean of the Faculty opened the conference, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kadri, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and a group of professors.

The recommendations also included conducting training courses in sign language for members of the faculty’s supporting staff to qualify them to teach students with hearing disabilities and appointing employees who use sign language in the student affairs departments of the colleges in which students with hearing disabilities are integrated, and teaching sign language within the curricula of the faculties of Specific Education and Education to graduate teachers who are able to teach to the deaf and graduating a generation of deaf people capable of keeping pace with working life.

This came after the conference sessions, which included a review of a number of research papers and working papers presented by Prof. Muhammad Ali Abu Ahmed Art Education, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ahmed Alwan from the State of Sudan and Prof. Dr. Osama El-Sayed Mustafa, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kadry, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amal Selim, Professor Nicos Soulels, and a group of deans of the faculties of specific education: Prof. Dr. Angel Dean of the Faculty of Music Education, Helwan University and a.
