A successful evacuation experience for the buildings of the Faculty of Science in preparation for the launch of the examinations work

Today, the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, conducted a successful evacuation experiment for the faculty buildings. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ragaa Al-Sutohi, Dean of the Faculty, said that the eviction experiment comes within the framework of the faculty’s preparations for the theoretical exams that will start next Wednesday, corresponding to June 9, in order to ensure the readiness of all the departments concerned with the faculty from administrative security, civil defense, public affairs and headquarters affairs to deal with any emergency that may arise during the exams process. In light of the students’ presence, in the interest of the faculty administration for the safety of students, faculty staff, the assistants teaching, administrators and faculty staff.

It is worth noting that this experiment is the first of its kind in the history of the faculty to conduct an evacuation experiment for all faculty buildings at the same time. Prof. Dr. Amani Suleiman, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Development, said that four safe gathering points were made to test the evacuation, and the evacuation was completed successfully in three and a half minutes.
