Launching the closing activities of the second edition of the "Ain Shams Innovates" competition

The final activities of the "Ain Shams Innovate" competition, in its second edition, were held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Temraz, Vice President of Community and Environmental Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Majed Ghanima, Director of the University's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Postgraduate Studies and Research, said that the activities of the "Ain Shams Innovates" competition, which is organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support at Ain Shams University, is held for the second year in a row with the participation of Ain Shams University faculties. Pointing out that the activities carried out by the innovators are a practical application of the philosophy of the fourth generation universities.

         
   
         
         
   
         

He praised the efforts of all participants in the competition, wishing them success during their participation in the final qualifiers.

The contestants are scheduled to continue from four in the afternoon until seven in the evening, presenting their innovative ideas in a competitive framework at the campus of Saffron Palace, which can be followed up through the following website:

The competition prizes will be distributed to the winners, with a value of 300 thousand pounds, in a large ceremony at 7 p.m. until 8 p.m., in the presence of a number of ministers, representatives from the Academy of Scientific Research, professors and students.

It is noteworthy that the competition includes two main tracks in which the contestants compete with their innovative ideas, namely (the innovation track), which targets students and new graduates with emerging ideas and projects, and the researchers track, which targets faculty members, aid agencies and the graduates participating in research projects.
