Faculty of Al-Alsun conducts a trial operation to evacuate in three minutes

Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University launched sirens announcing a trial evacuation operation, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, supervised by Prof. Yemna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in the presence of Prof. Mohamed Attia, Director of the University's Civil Defense Department, and the accompanying team .

Where the Civil Defense Department team at the faculty, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Yumna Safwat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Director of the Department, carried out the evacuation process for the faculty members, the assisting body, and students on the Faculty campus, according to a well thought out and organized plan to face potential disasters, the evacuation process started at 11:00 until 11:03:35.

The plan relied on several main elements, which are human monitoring by senses or automation by any modern technological means, followed by the sounding of alarm sirens immediately to provide an opportunity for confrontation or escape, as well as the plan included methods of confrontation according to the type of danger by trained and strong human elements who have direct experience By means of confrontation with manual equipment, and the speed of the ambulance arriving at the campus to provide first aid and transport the injured, and the evacuation process aimed to train the human element to adhere to all security standards in the event of any natural disasters, and to raise the efficiency of the Civil Defense Department in the Faculty in managing any emergency that might happen.
