Protocol of cooperation between the Faculty of Agriculture and Qalioubia Governorate

In the framework of activating the role of Ain Shams University in the Community and in accordance with its strategy as a university without walls, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Halim Governor of Qaliubiya and Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University witnessed the signing of cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Agriculture and Shubra Al-Khaymah City Council. Where Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty and Major General Magdi Al-Waseef, President of the Shubra Al-Khaima City Council, signed a joint cooperation protocol in the presence of Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Shawki Salim, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Affairs, Prof. Dr. Walaa Abdel Ghani, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal explained that under this protocol, the Faculty of Agriculture trains women - dependent women - and people with special abilities on some food and chemical industries that enable them to start micro-enterprises that provide income to families.

He pointed out that the training provided by specialized professors in the faculty includes training in the dairy industry, baking and soap industry, as well as training in the cultivation of surfaces, which works to increase the green areas, provide a good income for individuals, and provide employment opportunities suitable for the target groups of the protocol.

Adding that the training is expected to begin concurrently with the start of the half-year vacation at the end of this month.
