The Public Authority for Adult Education, in cooperation with Ain Shams University, honored the outstanding students in the national project for literacy in the Great Conference Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University. The effective measures set by the university in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education and the Supreme Council of Universities to issue decisions obliging some theoretical colleges to participate in literacy eradication and the establishment of literacy units in each college, in addition to motivating distinguished students with material and in-kind incentives.
The honor will be witnessed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ashour Omari, President of the Public Authority for Adult Education, and by the Vice-Presidents of the University and members of the university's faculty.
It is worth noting that on the sidelines of the ceremony, the cooperation protocol between the General Authority for Adult Education and Ain Shams University will be renewed for the third year in a row. To keep the university seeking volunteering and community work.
It is decided that the distinguished students who were illiterate eradicated would be honored with the largest number of illiterates. The Faculty of Education got the first place, the Girls College of Science, Arts and Education got the second place, the Faculty of Al-Alsun got the third place, the Faculty of Arts got the fourth place, the Faculty of Education The quality got the fifth place, the Faculty of Law got the sixth place, the Faculty of Commerce got the seventh place.
Also, unit managers and faculty project coordinators who have contributed with their students to the project will be honored and make all efforts to promote and advance the project.
