Ain Shams University hosts the Orthopedic Promotions Committee

Ain Shams University hosted the Committee for the Promotion of Orthopedic Surgery to the Degree of "Professor - Assistant Professor" formed by the Supreme Council of Universities, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud, Vice President of the University Ain Shams for Education and Student Affairs

Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud that the committee includes the largest professors of orthopedic surgery in Egypt and is chosen on precise scientific grounds, indicating that the committee’s role is not only limited to promoting faculty members, but to contribute to setting sound standards for scientific research in its field and controlling it so that the research is truly applied and becomes It has a positive impact on society.

Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud expressed his pride in hosting Ain Shams University for the meeting of the Orthopedic Professors Promotion Committee, stressing that the university's choice to host the meeting is the best evidence of its great value in the scientific community, and is a continuation of its pioneering role in developing scientific research.

He added that the meeting hall in the university city for students was chosen to hold the committee, as it is a testament to the great renaissance that has occurred in the university in terms of construction and infrastructure booms, noting that the attendees expressed their happiness at the great progress the university had achieved and became an example to be followed.

It is noteworthy that the committee that convened includes 9 members, they are Prof. Dr. Gamal Hosni, the rapporteur of the committee and the president of the Egyptian Orthopedic Association, as well as Prof. Dr. Adel Adawy, former Minister of Health and Population and President of the Egyptian Medical Association, Prof. Dr. Morsi Zaki, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Menoufia University, Prof. Dr. Osama Ahmed Farouk, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, Prof. Dr. Wael Muhammed Kubtan, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Prof. Dr. Essam Awad El-Karif, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Magdy Al-Barbari, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Prof. Dr. Shazly Saleh Moussa, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Sohag University, and Prof. Dr. Yasser Imam, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University.
