The World Organization for Spine Surgery and the International Federation of Neurosurgical Societies honors Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of Ain Shams University

In a major ceremony via videoconferencing, today the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies honored WSCS (World spinal column society) and the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies honored Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Muhammad Fathy Saud - Professor of Orthopedic and Spine Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, and Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; In recognition of his pioneering role in the global training initiatives for spine surgery during which Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, with a group of international experts in the field of spine surgery, trained hundreds of spine surgeons in various countries of the world over a period of six months, despite the closure that various countries of the world faced due to the global Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

It is noteworthy that Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saud chairs the World Association of Spine Surgery, in addition to recording many innovations known and internationally registered in his name in the field of spinal surgery, including the innovation of a surgical procedure to fix the sacrum bone with medical nails.
