A coordination meeting to discuss ways of potential cooperation between Ain Shams University and the General Authority for Adult Education

Based on the societal role played by Ain Shams University in addressing the problems that plague the Egyptian society, on top of which is the problem of illiteracy, and to activate cooperation ties with the partner agencies, especially the General Authority for Adult Education and the Education Directorate in Cairo, and under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini,

President The University, Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, held a coordination meeting between the university, the Public Authority for Adult Education, and the Directorate of Education in Cairo. In preparation for the signing of a memorandum of understanding for a true partnership to confront illiteracy and overcome all difficulties for university students, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Tawab, Director General of General Education in the Directorate of Education in Cairo Governorate, and Dr. Mahmoud Hagag, Director of Training in the Directorate.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, Director of the University's Adult Education Center, Doctor Nahla Jamal, Secretary of the Adult Education Center, and Dr. Fatima Ayyad, University Coordinator at the Public Authority for Adult Education.
