June 20 ... Ain Shams University participates in the international webinar of the World Allergy Organization "Climate change increases sensitivity ... Be prepared"

Within the framework of World Allergy Week, which takes place from the 18th to the 24th of June 2023, Ain Shams University is participating under the chairmanship and sponsorship of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, in the international webinar, with the participation of a number of world universities, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 3:00 pm Cairo time, under the title “Climate Change Increases Sensitivity…Be prepared.” Prof. Elham Hosny, Professor of Pediatrics at Ain Shams University and the representative expert of Ain Shams University in the international webinar, discussed how climate change can increase allergens.

The webinar also discusses a number of topics, including how to provide health care for allergy sufferers in the face of the effects and risks resulting from climate change, and how to apply a new approach to dealing with allergy cases, taking into account climate changes.

The webinar is organized by the World Allergy Organization (WAO), which includes 108 regional and national associations concerned with allergy, asthma, and immunology. The organization provides a wide range of educational and awareness programs, seminars, and lectures for allergists and immunologists around the world, and it also implements initiatives related to clinical practice, service provision, and training in order to understand and address the challenges facing allergists and immunologists around the world.
