The Entrepreneurs Forum "Ain Shams Innovates" in its fourth edition, presented to the entrepreneurial community interested in the activities of the fourth industrial revolution, sustainability, and related community services.

Within the framework of Ain Shams University's interest in supporting the system of innovation and entrepreneurship and supporting student activities, which are in line with the country's plan for sustainable development 2030, which emphasizes the importance of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship and their use to link and develop the educational and research process with the requirements of industry and the labor market.

And in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Affairs and environment in addition to a large group of representatives of companies, ministries, and entrepreneurs in various fields at the ASU Innovation Hub at Ain Shams University.

The Entrepreneurs Forum "Ain Shams Innovates" is in its fourth consecutive session, which aims to support innovative ideas, startups, ideas, and research projects based on students, graduates, researchers, or entrepreneurs from Ain Shams University. Where the owners of emerging ideas compete in presenting their business models, which are evaluated in terms of importance, leadership, and the completion of its basic pillars from the perspective of business administration at the hands of a group of the best experts in the field of entrepreneurship, which motivates the university community to develop innovative thinking among them.

After the success of the previous editions of the Ain Shams Innovate Forum, this year’s edition 2023 comes to celebrate the winners of the Ain Shams Innovate Competition and distribute financial prizes amounting to more than 600,000 pounds for all tracks directed to the activities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, sustainability and related community services. This edition was organized in cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Center at Technische Universität Berlin and the DAAD: German Academic Exchange Service. Where more than 280 ideas participated in the competition, whether students, researchers, or entrepreneurs, who attended an intensive training camp to weigh the different skills of the various participating teams, after which these teams will be filtered into 40 teams divided into three tracks of the competition and participate in the finals. These teams will compete in front of a jury of experts in the fields of entrepreneurship from the German and Egyptian sides to determine the winners.

The forum will also include many activities that are scheduled to be held on this day, including an exhibition for companies, workshops, and training in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, legal guidance sessions, mentoring sessions for entrepreneurs, an exhibition of innovations, an exhibition for emerging companies, and dialogue circles in the fields, related to the participation of a large sector of leading companies in the field of technology to talk about the latest technologies and innovations in their companies and to present their future needs in related fields, all of this and more in the presence and participation of many experts and influencers in the field of supporting entrepreneurs and innovators. The activities of the Entrepreneurs Forum "Ain Shams Innovates 2023" are scheduled to be held on Wednesday, the twelfth of July 2023, in the building of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University, from twelve in the afternoon until ten in the evening.

The Entrepreneurs Forum "Ain Shams Innovates 2023" aims to encourage, enable and support innovators and entrepreneurs in the early stages to share and exchange creative ideas, as well as form their potential startups or small and medium-sized companies. It is also an opportunity for networking between industry parties and entrepreneurs. The forum also aims to support the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship at the level of Ain Shams University on common principles, values, vision, and goals, while creating a supportive atmosphere for innovative discussions and establishing a forum for creative ideas and emerging companies from all over the Republic within the entrepreneurial community at Ain Shams University, also, taking care to create communication channels to bridge the gap between the entrepreneurship community and industry parties in various fields.
