May 18... Opening of the annual conference of the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine

The Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University, organizes its annual conference, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hospitals, Prof. Adel Mahmoud, Head of the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, Prof. Howaida Al-Shennawy, Head of the Department of General Internal Medicine, and Prof. Tarek Mohamed Youssef, Director of Ain Shams University Internal Medicine Hospital, during the period 16-19 May.

The conference will discuss the latest scientific findings in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic and immunological diseases, in the presence of a group of professors of specialization in all governorates of the Republic.

The main conference sessions will be on May 18/19 (at the Triumph Hotel, at 5th Settlement), and will include many lectures and rich discussions dealing with methods of diagnosing and treating rheumatic and immunological diseases. The conference will be an opportunity to exchange experiences with professors from European countries, the conference will host professors from Belgium and Europe, with the participation of Egyptian universities and the Faculty of Medicine of the Armed Forces.

On the sidelines of the conference, on May 16/17, workshops will be held in the field of kinetic sonar, capillary microscopy, and the possibility of using these methods in the early diagnosis of immune diseases.
