April 1, Launch of the 8th scientific conference at Ain Shams University entitled "Creativity ... Innovation ... Industry"

Ain Shams University believes in the importance of linking scientific research to the industry in the light of its strategy 2018/2023 and linking the university with the industry and consolidating the principles of intelligent management, therefore, the university will hold its eighth scientific conference entitled "Creativity  ... Innovation … Industry" under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the chairmanship of the University President. The conference will be held from 1-3 April, and Saudi Arabia will be the guest of honor of the conference.

The conference will witness 28 meetings, with 244 participants: 108 speakers, 128 posters distributed across several sectors:

• Humanities and Social Sciences Sector (58 participation)
• Engineering Sciences Sector (28 participation)
• Medical Sciences Sector (82 participation)
• Agricultural Science Sector (10 participation)
• Basic sciences sector (58 participation)
• Science Park: A delegation of 2 Chinese experts.

Five foreign bodies will attend the conference: DAAD, Fulbright, Erasmus, the British Cultural Center and the Russian Cultural Center, as well as a high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia as a guest of honor.

The opening ceremony of the conference will also witness the awarding of the honorary doctorate to Prof. Dr. Ahmed Okasha.

This honor comes in the light of the keenness of Ain Shams University to honor its sons who have contributed so much to their country and society and to the prominent role played by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Okasha in the field of psychiatry.

It will be held on Monday, April 1 at 9:00 am at the University's grand conference hall next to the Faculty of Pharmacy.
