Peoples Cultures Festival at Ain Shams University

Within the framework of Ain Shams University's aim of consolidating its role as one of the internationally acclaimed universities worldwide, and not only a place for science, research, and study. Ain Shams University is preparing the activities of (the Festival of Peoples' Cultures) under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdelfattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Services and Environmental Development Affairs. This grand event will be under the supervision of Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector (IRAC), and Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of the International Students and Mobility Office at the university, on Thursday 23rd February 2023 in the main university campus. It will be organized by International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector, the university students union, and the “For Egypt” student organization.

The event will include a parade of flags, an exhibition by participating countries to display their culture, folklore, costumes, food, as well as artistic performances and cultural competitions, and much more.

It is worth noting that the number of international students at Ain Shams University exceeds 10,000 students and 84 different nationalities.
