The Center for Adult Education at Ain Shams University is organizing its nineteenth annual conference, entitled Artificial Intelligence and Adult Education in the Arab World, under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education, Dr. Nevin Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Mohamed Ould Omar, Director General of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science, Prof. Mohamed Nassif, head of the Public Authority for Adult Education, headed by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, from January 28 to January 29, 2023, in the Grand Conference Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in both live and online attendance systems.
Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, Director of the Adult Education Center and rapporteur of the conference, explained that the conference will discuss several axes, including; The new roles of adult education institutions in the Arab world in the era of artificial intelligence, modern trends for adult education in the era of artificial intelligence, the employment of artificial intelligence applications in adult education programs in the Arab world, in addition to the requirements of artificial intelligence and its implications for adult education in the Arab world, artificial intelligence, and self-learning skills, in addition to plans, programs, strategies, and curricula for adult education in the era of artificial intelligence, the role of civil society organizations in developing adult education programs in the Arab world, as well as empowering Arab women for positive participation in the era of artificial intelligence, sustainable professional development for adult teachers in light of the requirements of artificial intelligence, education adults and the technical and social empowerment of people with special needs in the Arab world. The conference will also discuss the role of technological literacy as an imperative in the era of artificial intelligence, technological applications in the field of adult education and lifelong learning.
Arab and international formulas and experiences, as well as recent trends in managing and financing adult education projects in the age of artificial intelligence, the role of digital media and communication in adult education and lifelong learning, and finally the challenges of adult education and lifelong learning in the age of artificial intelligence.
A group of experts, researchers, and those interested in educational affairs in general and adult education in particular, from Egypt and the Arab world, will participate in the conference.
