The 14th Scientific Conference for Agricultural Development Research at the Faculty of Agriculture

The Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, organized the 14th Scientific Conference for Research on Agricultural Development entitled "Biotechnology and Agricultural Development" under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Prof. Dr. Ezz Al-Din Abu Setit, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, on 17-18 March at the conference hall.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Galal, Dean of the Faculty and President of the Conference, said that the conference is concerned with animal, poultry and fish production, field and horticultural production, as well as food science, food security and food safety, food biotechnology, plant protection, plant diseases, economic insects, pesticides and economic management. Prof. Dr. Shawki Salim, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Conference Rapporteur, said that the conference is concerned with agricultural microbiology, bio-fertilization, microbial, chemical and genetics methods in agriculture, agricultural engineering and earth sciences.
