Within the framework of Ain Shams University's celebration of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine is organizing today, Sunday, November 20, activities to raise awareness of the dangers of antibiotics by setting up an awareness corner in front of Al-Banhawi auditorium, where elite doctors of the department educate those who hesitate about the risks of antibiotics and offer Guidance on how to handle it and when not to use it.
The week’s activities will conclude with an awareness seminar on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Al Banhawi auditorium, from 10 am to 12 noon, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting as Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hospitals at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the faculty, under the supervision of Prof. Maha Hamdy, Head of the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology.
