From today to the 24th of November, the Faculty of Medicine celebrates the World Antimicrobial Resistance Week

Within the framework of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University celebrating the World Antimicrobial Resistance Week, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors Hospitals and Prof. Dr. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development. The Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty headed by Prof. Maha Hamdi, organizes an awareness week for employees working at the Faculty, university and affiliated Faculties, about the causes and dangers of antibiotics.

The activities start on Sunday, November 20, in the Faculty yard, daily from 10 am to 12 noon, and conclude with an awareness seminar on Thursday, November 24, in Prof. Banhawi auditorium at 10 am.
