"Wood Heritage in Egypt and Sudan"... The International Forum Program

The Faculty of Archeology, Ain Shams University, organizes the International Forum Program "Wood Heritage in Egypt and Sudan", in cooperation with the French Scientific Institute of Oriental Archeology, Alcala de Henares University in Spain and the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge University, from Monday, September 26 to Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the headquarters of the French Scientific Institute of the Oriental Antiquities in Cairo.

Specialists in archaeological wood studies and conservation from Egypt, Sudan, the United States of America, Spain, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom will participate in the forum, where the latest studies and research projects in this field are presented, as well as the latest applications of modern technology in the documentation, restoration and maintenance of wooden heritage, whether in archaeological sites or museums.
