For the fourth year in a row, Ain Shams University is decorated with orange in celebration of the International Day for Patient Safety

For the fourth year in a row and in a distinguished annual tradition, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, in cooperation with the office of the representative of the World Health Organization, celebrates the World Patient Safety Day, which was set by the World Health Organization on the seventeenth of September each year.

The celebration of Ain Shams University will be launched this year under the slogan "Safety of Medication", at exactly ten in the morning next Saturday at the headquarters of the Training and Development Center at the Faculty of Medicine at the university, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors and Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Anwar, Executive Director of University Hospitals and Prof. Dr. Samia Abdo, Deputy Executive Director of University Hospitals, Director of Infection Control, and Prof. Dr. Mahi Al-Thiwi, Professor of Public Health, Professor of Hospital Quality, and Prof. Dr. Ehab Shehab, Quality Manager at University Hospitals.

The Saffron Palace, the administrative headquarters of the university, will be illuminated in orange (the distinctive color to celebrate the International Day for Patient Safety), as well as the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals building on the evening of Friday, September 16, 2021.
