The Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at Ain Shams University is holding a “graduation ceremony for the training program for African and Egyptian climate ambassadors, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research, Prof. Dr. Reham Refaat, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies And Research and Prof. Dr. Hala Awadallah, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, on Thursday, June 9, in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of a group of ministers, ambassadors of African countries and some representatives of international organizations and the Specific Climate Union.
Prof. Dr. Noha Samir Donia explained that the Faculty of Environmental Studies and Research at Ain Shams University had launched the program in cooperation with the Volunteer Team Foundation for Humanitarian Action, as part of the activities of the Million Youth Volunteer Initiative for Climate Adaptation, which the college participated in establishing. The program aims to mobilize the efforts of African and Egyptian students and researchers to build bridges of climate knowledge with society in preparation for Egypt's organization of the COP27 Conference of Parties on Climate Change.
