Today, Sunday, May 29, 2022, the “Green Future” seminar will be held as part of the Climate Change Week activities within the framework of the Presidential Initiative Prepare for Green for the celebrations of World Environment Day, which is held by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at Ain Shams University, as part of the activities of the Million Youth Volunteer Initiative for Climate Adaptation (Climate Ambassadors Where the Faculty of Girls at Ain Shams University is organizing the symposium in cooperation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research at the university and the Voluntary Team Foundation for Humanitarian Action, at the headquarters of the Faculty for Girls.
The symposium is held under the auspices of the President of the University, Prof. Mahmoud El-Matini, the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Hisham Tamraz, the Dean of the Faculty of Girls, Prof. Amira Youssef, and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research, Prof. Noha Samir Donia.
The symposium will discuss global warming and the carbon footprint in a lecture given by Ambassador Mostafa El-Sherbiny, ambassador of the European Climate Charter and head of the Million Young Volunteers Initiative for Climate Adaptation and the impact of climate change on agriculture, climate change and aquatic life, as well as eco-cinema and addressing climate change, carbon footprint and green future, global warming and a green future.
The seminar is expected to issue recommendations on a green transition.
