The Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector announces an introductory symposium on the implementation of the scientific publishing support initiative for Egyptian researchers and scholars

Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University, is pleased to announce the implementation of the first phase of the initiative to support scientific publishing for Egyptian researchers and scientists. Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh explained that within the framework of the initiative announced by Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support scientific publishing for Egyptian researchers and scientists, the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority, in cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, implemented the first phase of this initiative in cooperation with the publisher Springer Nature to cover the cost of scientific publishing as of January 1, 2022 for classified journals Q1, Q2 plus Q3 for some time. It is worth mentioning that the scientific articles subject to the agreement must be the first author and the person responsible for communicating with the journal, holding the Egyptian nationality, working in an Egyptian university or research center, and having only one address, which is his university, single corresponding affiliation. Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President of Ain Shams University, invited to attend the introductory symposium in partnership with the authority, on Monday 3/1/2022 at Al-Mahalawi auditorium at the Faculty of Medicine at exactly ten o'clock.
