The Support Unit for the disabled students at the Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University, is organizing a training program entitled Effective Thinking Skills – “CORT” for the disabled, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Gehan Ragab, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, organized by Dr. Hanan Hussein, Director of the Student Support Unit for Special Capabilities of the Faculty of Business, presented by the leader of the Bedaya Human Development Team, Dr. Ola Mustafa, the accredited trainer from Dipono Middle East and Africa, for the six-level international curriculum, on February 17-18, February 19 at the Al-Jazzar Amphitheater from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
This was stated by Prof. Dr. Khaled Kadri, Dean of the Faculty, adding that the CORT Thinking Skills Program aims to develop mental ability, giving the student self-confidence in front of different life situations, developing the ability to solve problems, acquiring decision-making skills, acquiring the skill of analytical thinking, and acquiring thinking skills Cash, gaining strategic thinking skills, gaining creative thinking skills, gaining organizational skills, gaining planning skills in general, realizing the value of time, expanding the field of expertise through many patterns, organizing and improving the thinking process, and gaining the ability to think in a different way, develop a sense of responsibility, gain and develop speaking skill and ability to present ideas, gain effective negotiation skills and gain effective communication skill.
Prof. Dr. Hanan Hussein, director of the Support Unit the disabled at the Faculty of Commerce, made it clear that the first cycle program is the cornerstone for studying the rest of the levels, it aims mainly to expand the circle of understanding and perception and train the mind on the way to use the tools of the court in a proper way and also helps the mind to organize ideas significantly, and not The rest of the levels can be studied before studying the first level.
She also added that the first round contains 10 tools for thinking which are dealing with ideas, considering all factors, laws, logical results and what follows, goals, planning, important priorities, alternatives and possibilities, options and decisions as well as the views of others.
