The Center of Middle East Research and Future Studies at Ain Shams University is preparing to hold the international scientific conference entitled "The Future of the Middle East Region, Egypt Vision 2030" from 25-26 March 2020 under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El Metini, President of Ain Shams University and President of the Conference Professor Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President of the University for Community Affairs and Environmental Development and Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors, and the General Rapporteur of the conference, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mo’nes, Director of the Middle East Research Center and Future Studies.
Where the director of the center added that the goal of that conference is (the term historically and politically Middle East - definition of the political, economic, social and security situations and issues of the region - the region's relations with the outside world represented in its relations with the United States of America - Russia, China as a rising country - western Europe - the relations of the countries of the region with each other - The region's natural resources and the ambitions it faces - Challenges facing investment in the Middle East region - Border-demarcation agreements for the preservation and protection of marine economic resources in the region - Regional powers in the region and their different stripes of Israel - Turkey - Iran - Egypt - Foreign powers invest in differences between the regimes in the region - Minority problems (their impact on the stability of the region), water problems (the region is a source, not a source) (demographics of the Middle East region and its impact on its future - external challenges facing the region as the international situation changes.
Prof. Ashraf Mo’nes announced that the deadline for receiving abstracts is 20/2/2020.
Whereas, the conference will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, 25-26 March 2020 at the guesthouse - Ain Shams University.
