The Adult Education Center at Ain Shams University is organizing its 18th annual conference, entitled Adult education and entrepreneurship in the Arab world, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Adult Education, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, from April 12-14, 2020 at the guesthouse of Ain Shams University in the presence of a wonderful elite of educators in general and adult education experts in particular.
Dr. Islam Al-Saeed, director of the Adult Education Center and the conference rapporteur, explained that the conference includes 4 main areas, the first area is titled Entrepreneurship and Development of Adult Education Programs in the Arab World and includes several axes, including public policies to integrate entrepreneurship programs with literacy and adult education plans, standards for entrepreneurship education for adults, Digital adult entrepreneurship (opportunities and challenges), pioneering adult education (its philosophy, goals, and requirements for achieving it), transformation paths to pioneering adult education in the framework of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The second area examines entrepreneurship and the future of adult education institutions in the Arab world. It includes entrepreneurship and adult education institutions have estimated competitiveness, entrepreneurship and building a competitive advantage for adult education institutions, areas and mechanisms of partnership between adult education institutions in developing entrepreneurship for adults, requirements for establishing leadership pillars Businesses in adult education and entrepreneurship institutions, and adult education institutions fulfill the requirements of a knowledge economy.
The third topic discusses adult education and sustainable development for adults in the Arab world and contains several areas of entrepreneurship, sustainable development goals and indicators to measure them, entrepreneurship for people of determination (plans and programs), towards establishing business incubators for people freed from illiteracy, female leadership programs to reduce female illiteracy and best international practices in the field of entrepreneurship development for adults.
The fourth topic discusses entrepreneurship and management of small projects for adults and includes entrepreneurship and creation of new opportunities for work, learning and innovation for adults, the infrastructure for entrepreneurial projects, steps of the pilot project for adults and elements of its evaluation, innovative mechanisms for financing and marketing entrepreneurial projects for adults and entrepreneurial projects in Africa (Reality Challenges and Future Visions).
Dr. Islam Al-Saeed explained that the deadline for receiving abstracts is March 15th and for receiving the complete participating papers on April 1, 2020.
