17 November ... Practical applications of language computing ... Scientific symposium for faculty members at Faculty of Al-Alsun

The Committee of Laboratories and Practical Instruments of the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, is organizing a seminar entitled "Practical Applications of Language Computing", under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad Dean of the Faculty, lecturing by Prof. Dr. Taghreed El-sayed Anbar, a full-time professor in the Department of African Languages at the faculty, at 12:00 o'clock on Sunday, November 17 at the Faculty Board room. This was stated by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Attia Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research.

He explained that the symposium comes within the framework of a series of seminars launched by the sector to the faculty members, according to the university's strategy to use advanced technology in the field of language science using computer software in the analysis of information.

He pointed out that the digitization of language is not a goal in itself, but used to conduct practical applications in various aspects of life such as the establishment of mechanized libraries and electronic libraries, machine translation and search in linguistic stocks to extract accurate and comprehensive search results and many others.
