In the framework of the announcement of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, "Aswan, the capital of African youth for this year". Ain Shams University participates in the first African Universities Youth Week under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini President of the University and supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
The week will be held at the University of Aswan with the participation of 21 African countries and more than 20 Egyptian universities, during the period from 25 to 19 October, with the aim of strengthening and strengthening partnership and cooperation between African and Egyptian universities, exchange of cultures among Arab-African youth and integration of higher education institutions in Africa and exchange experiences and spread coexistence.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud explained that the university participates in a number of competitions: swimming, chess, inventions and innovations, software, singing, short films, poetry, television reporter, science fiction, painting, photography and drawing. Representing the prestigious Ain Shams University, which includes 10 university students to participate in various activities and events of the week.
